The following have undergone successful endorsement set out by our bylaws which include a public review and comment period and 2/3 majority vote by SWGMDI board.

Additionally, the following external documents have been endorsed by SWGMDI with a 2/3 majority vote. they did not undergo a public review and comment period.

1. SWGMDI endorses the National Institute of Justice publications entitled:  “Death Investigation: A Guide for the Scene Investigator” (1999), and “Death Investigation: A Guide for the Scene Investigator: Technical Update” (2011) as standards.
